You promised you wouldn’t flood the earth again

As our home still sits on its’ foundation and not floating down into the meadow

With no time or command to build an ark

But always time to pray

You brought rain upon the dry parched earth

Took away the drought

As faith looks upward for Your promise

Your sign of a brilliant colored rainbow skying over on its’ appointed route.
